How we support communities
A National Network of Garden Centre Ambassadors
Connection is at the heart of what we do. We have created a community of communities - a place where people can come together and where like-minded people and groups can share knowledge and experience, encourage and support each other and be inspired by the amazing work that others are doing. We do that partly through social media groups, but also through creating a database to help communities and garden centres find each other in their local areas. Visit our post code finder to find your local ambassador.

Every day there is someone picking up the phone in the office to give support, information, or doing whatever we can to help. We believe in this movement and we're here every step of the way to help people on their journey with all of the tools available to us.

Money doesn't grow on trees unfortunately and we understand how necessary it can be.
We've seen a lot of creative ways to raise funds over the years and we are happy to share them around so that everyone can find the resources they need. We also have tonnes of tips on how to save money and get things done for cheaper. Visit our Fundraising Blog for more ideas.
Guides and Blogs
We've been creating guides and blogs for years that will help you to understand the best ways to tackle all manner of garden projects.
Whether it's guides to a range of prizes and categories, growing, tips on landscaping, demystifying the most complex concepts and terminology - they're all here and they're completely free to download or view.
The Cultivation Street competition sponsored by Calliope® Geraniums does an incredible job of injecting £20,000 into gardening communities and schools every single year. These awards have completely changed the possibilities for so many gardening projects over the years, allowing them to expand and invest in new ideas and services for their communities. By the end of this year there will have been £100,000 given out to the winners.
Cultivation Street TV
Cultivation Street TV travels the country to visit gardening projects, as well as ambassadors and mentors from our support network, bringing you their interesting and exciting stories. The tales of how these incredible groups came to be and the work that they do for their communities is always amazing to hear.
Stay tuned to stay inspired.
Our schools are the training grounds for our next generation of gardeners. It's so important that children are shown the wonders and thrill of gardening. Not only because of the tremendous benefits it will bring to their own lives, but also how that feeds into the wider community and environment. Cultivation Street support school gardens to become exciting places for these children to go and be inspired.
We keep everyone up to date with a fantastic monthly newsletter. Here they can see stories and video interviews of other garden projects and what they are up to, planting calendars, top tips, the latest blogs and guides, and more.
Please don't hesitate to tell us your story
At Cultivation Street in association with the Sunday Mirror we get the word out about community gardening and its benefits like no one else. Through our wide ranging contacts in the national press and media we generate millions of pounds of equivalent publicity spending, spreading ideas and stories that aim to draw more and more people into the movement and gain support for those already in it.
