Community Gardens

Community is important to us at Cultivation Street. So is community gardening. We've built up quite a good one over the years, so it's only fair that we encourage and reward people who do the same.

We're offering a reward to the community garden that is both exciting and inspiring. The aim is to reward the people who make their community a greener place to live and motivate you to make positve changes in your local area. We believe that in rewarding your passion, therefore, we're helping your garden and space flourish.

It wouldn't be a competition without prizes, though, would it? 1st place will win a grand total of £1000. The runners up will win £500 and £250 respectively.

Don't forget the 2 highly commended prizes of £100.

Moreover, each winner will be treated to a Miracle-Gro® hamper, allowing them to continue with their journey to grow their gardens.

School Gardens

Getting children to learn about gardening is super important to us. There is so much to understand and explore, not to mention the safe space a garden can offer.

So, with that in mind, we're awarding the school that has best involved children in creating a fantastic and inspirational garden. There are no rules - it can be edible or ornamental, and new or well-established. All that is important is that your garden has encouraged children to get creative and find their passion in gardening.

Of course, it wouldn't be a competition without a price! Once again, 1st place will win a grand total of £1000. The runners up will win £500 and £250 respectively.

Gardens for Better Health

We understand the importance of both mental and physical health and also the impact a garden or open space can have. In this day and age, moreover, it is vital that there is a space where people can recover and recuperate, and we think a garden is a great place to do that.

This award will go the garden that is having the most positive impact on both mental and physical health, and is actively supporting this in the local community. We are looking at the people who have been directly impacted by the work, the programmes provided, and the impact on the community itself.

1st place will receive a grand total of £1000. The runners up will receive £500 and £250 respectively.
